Dyke Nyte Buffalo is a mobile community event space created by dykes for dykes, other queer people and our friends.
Since 2023 we’ve met more than once a month all around Buffalo, NY. We have hosted costume parties, raves, drag shows, sober daytime stuff (like rock climbing, mud wrestling) and Pride. To some people, “dyke” is just a slur for lesbian; to us, a dyke is a person who’s strong, fiercely queer and can be masculine, feminine, neither, or both.

Dyke Nyte is organized by founders Micki and Jam with help from lots of chosen family, local artists, and sibling organizations. Like all good dykes, we recognize that gender and sexuality are complex experiences. We treat each other with love and respect. We look out for others. We fervently welcome all queerdos, outcasts, and freaks because we know what it’s like to walk into a room and feel like we don’t belong there.
Our community is made up of sweet and tough people from all different genders, cultures, abilities, and beliefs. We help each other identify and correct language and actions motivated by misogynoir, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, racism, classism and unfair biases in general. We believe in a future where dykes are liberated by way of the liberation of all people.
We support growing new and stronger connections within our community by providing in person events that celebrate queer joy. At Dyke Nyte, we embody the spirit of pride all year long. Unite with us in the freedom to express ourselves and love with abandon.
